Christian Education
The mission of the Christian Education Department of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is to promote and supervise Christian training that fosters the development of credible, committed Christian disciples. Through Biblically-based, doctrinally sound, innovative and relevant education, training and worship, the Department works collaboratively with the Board of Christian Education to disciple the entire membership of the denomination
Missionaries
This ministry promotes the cause of World Evangelism; growth in the knowledge and understanding of God and His plan of redemption for the world and teaches the concepts of Christian missions and provide experiences for participation in mission work and its ministries. Our missionaries include all groups beginning with children through adults.
Village HeartBEAT
The Village HeartBEAT
(Building Education & Accountability Together)
is a collaborative program organized to reduce risk-factors associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) through Faith-Based Organizations, whose goal is to invest in FBOs as mutual business partners to adopt effective strategies to enhance healthier lifestyle choices, develop tobacco-free sites, implement sustainable physical activities and nutritional options. VHB incorporates a 10-month FBOs competition team challenge that uses a community-based framework to provide
tools and resources to improve healthy outcomes.

This ministry provides informative and educational tools to help promote healthy behavior, protect God's temple, and meet the physical needs for the church and community.
Hearts of Gold
This group of ladies' help celebrate our Senior Members by hosting trips, Annual Christmas Party and other activities.

The mission of the Connectional Lay Council of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is to prepare and equip laity for life discipleship in the Kingdom of God by maintaining effective ministries that evangelize, encourage and edify the laity.
